This Shipping Policy explains how shipping, delivery, pickup, inspection, and damage reporting are handled for purchases made through balamst.com.

Balam Studio is a commercial brand operated by Jasu Industries LLC. For purposes of this Shipping Policy, all shipping and delivery services are managed by or on behalf of Jasu Industries LLC.

Shipping Area

At this time, Balam Studio ships only within the state of Florida, United States.

We currently do not ship to:

  • California
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Puerto Rico
  • U.S. territories
  • International destinations
  • Locations outside the state of Florida

If your delivery address is outside Florida, please contact us before placing an order to confirm whether special arrangements may be available.

Shipping Method

Most Balam Studio products are natural stone materials and are typically shipped on pallets due to their size, weight, and handling requirements.

Depending on the order, delivery location, product type, weight, and availability, shipments may be handled by local delivery services, freight carriers, or other third-party logistics providers.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs may be calculated at checkout when available through our Shopify store.

Shipping charges may depend on factors such as:

  • Delivery address
  • Product weight
  • Number of pallets
  • Order size
  • Delivery accessibility
  • Carrier availability
  • Special handling requirements

If the shipping cost cannot be calculated automatically at checkout, Balam Studio may contact you to confirm delivery details and provide a shipping quote before the order is finalized or dispatched.

Order Processing Time

Orders are generally processed within 2 to 5 business days after order confirmation, subject to product availability, payment confirmation, and order details.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and other non-business days.

Processing times may vary during high-demand periods, weather events, carrier delays, inventory changes, or other circumstances outside our control.

Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated transit time is generally 5 to 7 business days after the order has been processed and dispatched.

The total estimated delivery timeframe may vary and can range from approximately 5 to 15 business days, depending on the delivery address, order size, carrier availability, logistics conditions, and other factors.

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Balam Studio.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available by prior arrangement.

If pickup is available for your order, Balam Studio will provide pickup instructions, location details, scheduling requirements, and any applicable loading instructions.

Customers picking up material are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is suitable for the size and weight of the order.

Delivery Conditions

Delivery includes transportation of the product to the customer’s delivery location.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery does not include:

  • Installation
  • Interior placement
  • Carrying materials upstairs
  • Moving materials beyond the delivery point
  • Specialized handling not previously agreed
  • Removal of packaging or pallets
  • Site preparation

A pallet jack may be provided or used to assist with moving palletized product where conditions allow. Delivery conditions must be safe, accessible, and suitable for palletized materials.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for the delivery of palletized natural stone materials.

Customer Responsibilities at Delivery

Because natural stone materials are heavy and fragile, the customer or an authorized representative must be available to receive and inspect the shipment at the time of delivery.

Before accepting delivery, the customer should inspect the shipment for visible damage, missing items, broken packaging, cracked material, or other delivery issues.

The customer should verify:

  • Number of pallets or packages received
  • Visible condition of packaging
  • Visible condition of the material
  • Any signs of damage during transit
  • Any missing or incorrect items

If there is visible damage, the customer should note the damage with the carrier or delivery representative before signing any delivery document, when applicable.

Damage During Shipping

Balam Studio’s responsibility for the condition of the product extends until delivery to the customer.

If an item arrives damaged, the customer must report the issue as soon as possible by contacting: customerservices@balamst.com.

The damage report should include:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Delivery address
  • Photos of the damaged product
  • Photos of the packaging or pallet
  • Photos of the delivery label, if available
  • Description of the issue
  • Date and time of delivery

Damage claims may be difficult to process if damage is not reported promptly or if the shipment is accepted without noting visible damage when applicable.

Natural Stone Handling Notice

Travertine and other natural stone products may vary in color, veining, texture, finish, and natural characteristics. These variations are normal and are not considered shipping damage.

Shipping damage generally refers to damage caused during transportation or delivery, such as broken pieces, cracked material, severe impact damage, or other transit-related issues.

Delays

Balam Studio is not responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Carrier delays
  • Traffic or road conditions
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
  • Delivery access issues
  • High shipping demand
  • Inventory availability
  • Acts of government or emergency conditions
  • Other logistics disruptions

If a delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates when available.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase.

Balam Studio is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional fees, or shipment issues caused by incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible delivery information provided by the customer.

Additional charges may apply if an order must be re-routed, re-delivered, stored, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
